This is a fantastic photo. I love the lighting on the tree with the full moon in the background. I took one night photography class, but haven't done much with it. Your photo inspires me to give it a try again.
This shot was taken at 2pm EST, the "moon" is a sunspot. The deep blue is due to a narrow aperture setting.
